Catalogue

The catalogue is a database of information resources available in your Library.

The CALICO (Cape Library Cooperative) agreement between the four higher institutions in the Western Cape allows you to search the catalogues of each institution, i.e. Cape Peninsula University of Technology, University of Cape Town, University Stellenbosch and the University of the Western Cape.

After you have identified your keywords, as explained in step 1, with which you'll search for, your first point of departure will be the catalogue. The catalogue will provide you with information resources that are available and can quickly be found in your Library at no cost.

If you can't find what you are looking for in your own Library, you can also make use of the information resources of other Libraries. Contact the Inter Library Loans (ILL) department in your Library to help you with this.
