Date of publication
-
Use the date of the most recent edition.
-
This will usually be stated on the imprint page (back
of the title page).
-
Remember that a reprint or impression does not constitute
a new edition.
-
If you are unable to find any indication of date (unlikely
these days), use the abbreviation s.a. (sine anno).
-
In the Harvard style the date follows the name
of the author and end with a full stop.
Truter, Mavis. 1994.
