Other course specific resources

What is meant by other course specific resources?

We have covered a wide variety of information resources (those used most often) in step 2, but there are often course- specific information resources available that might provide very valuable information for your specific subject field.

Remember there are so many of these available that only a few can be mentioned. Your Librarian will guide you to information resources related to your specific subject field.

The following are some examples to illustrate the wide variety of information resources available, which might only be relevant to certain specific courses/subject fields.

Merck index An encyclopaedia of chemicals, drugs and biologicals.
ASHRAE Handbook (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) Fundamentals of heating, refrigerating and air-conditioning.
ASM Handbook Powder metal technologies and applications.
Datasheets There are many different datasheets available, specifically for the engineering field.
